Brockford Green: £30,000 worth of equestrian equipment stolen in burglary




£30,000 worth of equestrian items have been stolen in a burglary at a property in Brockford Green.

The incident happened at around 9.20pm on Saturday, July 11, according to initial CCTV enquiries.

Those responsible entered a large barn on the rural property and stole items relating to horses and horse drawn carriages.

The items include around 20 drive & harness sets, along with horse whips and a Penny Farthing bicycle.

A full list of what was stolen is still being compiled by the victim, but police believe the person involved must have had access to a van or vehicle with a trailer.

police are asking anyone in the area with CCTV to check it for such vehicles between 8pm and 11pm on Saturday evening and to let police know if they believe they have seen a suspect vehicle.
