Folk, blues, jazz, roots rock and Americana will be served up at Garboldisham village hall next Saturday in aid of the Diss branch of Amnesty International.

Kiss The Mistress, UsPlus and Louise And The Renegades are three bands from the east of England that will be playing to help raise funds for the group as well as awareness of some of the work of Amnesty International.

Kiss The Mistress, headed up by Ginny Davis and John Ramirez offer a mix of their own songs together with ancient and traditional folk music.

They have performed at both the Cambridge and Suffolk folk festivals.

UsPlus are from Suffolk and provide a combination of contemporary folk music with 20th Century jazz and blues. Claire Appleby provides vocals.

Louise and the Renegades play their own style of country, roots rock and Americana.

It takes place on Saturday, May 9 at 7pm for a 7.30pm start. There is a licensed bar. Tickets are £10 from either Garboldisham Village Shop or Diss Tourist Information.
