A weekend of Steampunk culture and festivities is inbound to Bressingham Steam Museum and Gardens next month.
The event, which runs on Saturday, April 11 and Sunday, April 12 from 10.30am to 5pm, is set to include a Steampunk market and exhibitions of steam driven gallopers, small gauge steam railways, engines, portrait photography, as well as activities such as Victorian games, magic and storytelling, and sales of clothing, books, confectionery and antiques.
There will also be a show from the Crooked Theatre, who will perform Metropolis, Gladstone and Thy Last Drop, on the Saturday from 7.30pm.
Mike Bingham, event organiser, said: “My aim is to fill the place with top hats, bustles and extraordinary gadgets of Victorian science fiction.
“I hope it will grow and become the ‘go to’ annual Steampunk gathering.”
