Robin Hood has been politically-corrected. Instead of his Merry Men he appears with a band of Merry Persons when he takes to the stage at Bressingham Village Hall later this month.
The 30th offering by the Bressingham and Fersfield Dram Group, written by Peter Nuttall, is described as ‘almost a traditional pantomime but with the usual twists and turns to make things a little more interesting’.
Leading roles are taken by Morgan Roberts and Joyce Barnett.
Robin Hood and His Band Of Merry Persons is on for three nights, from February 18-20.
Tickets are available from the village shop or call (01379) 688375. Prices are £5 and £3 for children on the opening night, and £6 and £4 for the following performances.
The bar will open at 7pm and Robin will begin his adventures stealing from the rich and giving to the poor at 7.30pm.
