Suffragette, the first film ever shot in the Houses of Parliament, will be shown at the Stradbroke cinema on February 18.

Starring Carey Mulligan and Helena Bonham Carter, the film follows the struggle for women’s votes – and reminds us what few rights women had as recently as 100 years ago. Entrance is £5.50 and the 12A film is shown at 7.30pm.
