A tale of two infamous Norfolk murderers will be brought to life on stage at Brockdish Village Hall tomorrow evening, concluding the play’s second tour of the region.
The Poisoner’s Pact, the third original play from the Stuff of Dreams Theatre Company, written by Tim Lane and Cordelia Spence, is a black comedy based on true events which took place in north Norfolk in the 1830s.
The production offers a lively take on the case of Frances Billings and Katherine Frary, two cooks who were found guilty of multiple murder – their chosen method, arsenic poisoning, being frequently disguised in the dumplings they made.
Having had its first tour earlier this year, The Poisoner’s Pact returns with new material and a new cast member.
The show begins at 7.30pm. Tickets are £10, or £9 for concessions. It runs for approximately one hour and 45 minutes. To find out more, call 01379 652241.
