Never met a greyhound before? The World Horse Welfare Hall Farm in Snetterton is giving that opportunity during its family Greyhound Fun Day this Sunday, organised for the benefit of Kama’s Cave Greyhound Sanctuary.
This year, the key attraction of the day will be the fun-filled dog show, featuring a number of novelty categories, such as dog most like its owner, waggiest tail and best ears.
There will also be fun and games like the sausage race, egg and spoon race, and musical statues, in addition to stands, shopping vendors and a giant tombola.
Greyhound owners will have the unique chance to run their dogs in small groups, within a secure area as part of the off-lead sessions, whilst visitors will be able to meet the horses, walk around the farm paddocks and learn about the work of World Horse Welfare as well.
Doors to the event open at 11am, and the show and races will begin at noon.
