Folk singer Saskia Griffiths-Moore brings her debut album tour to the Pulham St Mary Pennoyer Centre on March 19.
Up to now, the emerging Gloucester performer – who got her big break when a music producer spotted her busking in Exeter – has relied on crowdfunding and public support to record and tour her music. But on her return to East Anglia she has the backing of a £5,000 Arts Council grant to keep her on the road.
She appeared at the Fisher Theatre last year at the invitation of Terry Reeve, the Town Reeve of Bungay, who said: “I am sure all lovers of folk and soul – and there is a hint of country too – or those who love music in general will be impressed with her.”
Saskia, who also sang at the Seagull Theatre in Lowestoft, said: “I am so excited about performing in the beautiful Pennoyer Centre and getting to know the kind people in the local music scene.
“I am sure it will be an intimate and heart-warming evening.”
Tickets for her Diss Corn Hall on Tour concert are £8.
