Blacksmiths Cottage Nursery in Dickleburgh is kicking off the so-called ‘gardening year’ with the return of the Snowdrop Fair this weekend.
Held in partnership with the Royal Horticultural Society, the event intends to bring together avid snowdrop collectors, specialist nurseries and enthusiastic gardeners from all over.
On display will be several hundred varieties of snowdrop, and stalls are lined up to sell rare and unusual bulbs grown by regional specialists.
The event runs Sunday from 1pm, with entry free of charge. There are also lectures from expert speakers from 10am – tickets for this are £12 and must be booked.
