A full and diverse schedule of different events is on the cards for Palgrave in the coming weeks, celebrating 30 years since the opening of the popular village community centre.
Beginning tomorrow, there will be a series of Art Open Studio days, taking place from 11am to 5pm on May 28, 29 and 30, and June 4, 5, 11 and 12.
The exhibitions will show off photographs, cartoons and watercolours at various venues, including the Community Centre, Pell Howell in Priory Road and The Old Waterworks in Millway Lane.
Also at the centre on Sunday, history and archaeology author Trevor Rowley will give a talk about the village, from 7.30pm.
On Monday, parish walks will be setting off from the centre at 10.30am and 3pm.
On June 11 and 12, an open gardens event featuring 20 different gardens is set to run from 11am to 5pm.
Also on June 11 is a barbecue and live music from rock and blues band Stony Ground, starting at 7.30pm.
