A performance of ‘The School of Husbands’ will take place at the Diss Corn Hall on Thursday, July 17, at 7.30pm.
The play is a 17th Century works by Molière and the plot centres around the suitors of two sisters.
It is a tale of unrequited love, true passion and going after what your heart wants.
The interpretation of the play from DOT Productions brings the audience a very fresh and modern take on the classic play.
Julia Curle, one of the producers of the play, describes it as “a comedy of corsets, but with a very modern spirit.”
It is this fun twist that makes the companies adaptations of classic productions so popular.
“We founded the company because we wanted to bring professional productions of fun, well-written plays to beautiful and varied venues,” said Andrew Lindfield, part of DOT productions.
Tickets for the night are £12 and can be purchased from the venue box office on 01379 652241.
