The weekend's two-day event, featuring pre-1970s classic cars, vintage tractors and fire engines, proved more popular than last year's event, according to organisers.

"We had the best performance from the Fire Engine Preservation Group, and we were really blessed with the weather," said Don Moyes, of the organising group.

Money raised on Saturday will go towards the Horham Village Hall Trust and funds totalling more than £900 from the tractor-run on Sunday will go to the East Anglia Children's Hospice.

"The committee thanks all of the exhibitors, who bought along their machines, big and small, because without them we could not do it," said Mr Moyes.

"It is so important to keep small village events like this from being over-shadowed by bigger ones," he said.
