Diss Rugby Football Club ran a successful two-day rugby course last week, which was aimed at introducing young people to the sport and developing core skills.
Boys and girls aged between seven and 11 took part, all under the watchful eye of the club’s community liaison officer, Zoe Stone.
She explained: “Focused on developing local young talent and building confidence in young players, the course was a great way to offer not only group training to some really eager players, but also focus on some one-to-one skills development, including passing, running with the ball and tag-tackling.”
The club are running a similar course on August 30 and 31, with limited spaces available.
It costs £50 and that includes lunch, courtesy of the Park Hotel.
