Diss Rugby Club Under-15s coach Kevin Jolly says his young side have become a team the town can be proud of after a successful tour.
It comes off the back of the Yorkshire White Rose Rugby Challenge Tour, where they reached the semi-finals.
Jolly said: “We would just like to say a massive thank you to everyone for all the effort put into developing the lads this year and supporting them wholeheartedly.
“They have become a rugby team that Diss can be proud of and I’m sure many will go on to play in the first-team in years to come.
“They put their heart and soul into the games that made all of us really proud of what they have achieved this year.
“We couldn’t be more proud and, more importantly, they all loved it.”
Diss opened the competition, which was held at Beverley RFC, taking on Biggleswade, Chelmsford and Ryton, finishing third in the group at the end of play on the first day.
At the start of the second day, Diss again took on Biggleswade, defeating them to earn a place in the semi-finals.
They faced Blaydon in the final four and, despite a valiant effort, missed out on a place in the final by five points.
