There were a host of Diss winners at the Sudbury hosted annual six-hour Endurothon at Foxborough Quarry in Sible Hedingham on Sunday.
The expert class was hotly contested with Martin Stevens and Ed Pooley (Diss) taking first place on 36 laps, ahead of Stephen and Mark Green (Sudbury), Danny Street and Dan Richardson (Sudbury/Halstead), Phil Roper and Paul Belton (Sudbury), Les and Alex Rampton (Sudbury), Ben and Jack Grice (Lowestoft) and Alex Walton and Andy Quorn (Sudbury). Matt Stone and Paul Hunt (Diss) won the clubman class with Dan Goodwin and Tom Morris (Sudbury/Diss) in second.
Marc Norton and Matt Smith (Sudbury) sealed third ahead of, Martin Gunton and Gavin Potter (Sudbury), Stuart Philips and Matt Rampton (Sudbury), Paul Wilkinson and Dale Gladwin (Woodbridge/Sudbury), Ben Martin and Mark Fenwick (Sudbury) and Edward and Euan Millar (Sudbury).
In the ironman class, Dan Hunt (Diss) scooped victory on 31 laps ahead of Will Hughes (Braintree), Alex Motts (Sudbury) both 30 laps, Jason Carboult, while young Samantha Webb, the only lady competitor, finished a creditable 14th.
n Diss and District Motorcycle Club will host three meetings in the 2015 Eastern Centre MX season.
Wattisfield Hall is to be the venue on May 10 and July 1, before hosting the final round on September 27.
