Framlingham College’s reputation for nurturing promising hockey talent has been further enhanced after three of its players were called up by England.
Molly Redgrove and Archie Winter will represent their country at Under-18 level, while Rose Winter has been selected as a member of the Under-16 set-up.
All of them will feature in respective three-match series against The Netherlands over the Easter weekend.
Framlingham’s head of hockey, Jamie Kingstone, said of the selections: “It is an incredible achievement for Molly and Archie to be selected as Under-18s and for Rose to feature in the Under-16s team.
“I am particularly delighted that Archie will make his international debut over this period.
“All three pupils have demonstrated a remarkable commitment to developing their game and I wish them the very best of luck against one of the powerhouses of world hockey.”
News of the call-ups has come on the back of Framlingham Under-18 Girls winning bronze at the National Hockey Finals in London.
