The British Truck Racing Championship rumbles into Snetterton on this weekend, delivering two days of exciting motorsport action, including five headlining truck races.

With just two events following Snetterton, the British Truck Racing Championship table is finely poised, with just nine points covering the top four in the top Division One.

Reigning triple champion Mat Summerfield heads ten-time title winner Stuart Oliver, former champion Dave Jenkins and last year’s Division 2 winner Ryan Smith.

In Division Two, former class champion Steve Powell is aiming to extend his lead over Luke Garrett, and will also face opposition from local driver Jim Bennett from Bungay, who lies fourth in the standings.

The slower Division Two trucks will get a head start over their quicker counterparts, and it’s possible that one of the drivers in this class could hold on for a giant-killing victory.

A huge 23-race programme also includes supporting action from the Legends, pint-sized replicas of pre-war American hot-rods which are renowned for ultra-close racing. There will be racing from Classic Touring Cars, the Max 5 championship for Mazda’s popular MX-5 roadster, Clubmans sports racers and classic Formula Ford 2000 single-seaters.

Tickets are available online from £18, with free admission for under-13s and a special rate for 13-15 year-olds. Call 0843 453 9000 or visit www.snetterton.co.uk
