Magpies back after long break

Harleston Magpies Ladies return to outdoor National League action this weekend for the first time since November 24 when they visit Wimbledon today (1.30pm).

Magpies are currently second in Women’s Conference East, one point behind leaders Sevenoaks.

Magpies’ only defeat came in their last league game before the break against Oxford Hawks at home, which was particularly disappointing having just beaten Sevenoaks away 2-0 in the previous week.

Earlier in the season, Magpies drew 0-0 at home with Wimbledon in a tough match the visitors probably shaded.

This weekend Magpies will be without Amy Campbell, who is away training with the England under-16 squad.

Magpies will also be without Emily Wilford and Rosie Butler, who will not be available for the second half of the season as they are away as part of their gap year.

Magpies (from): Harrison, Miller, Warnes, Greenacre, Adams, Francis, Barber, Jones, Howland, Brook, Wheelhouse, Palmer, Toleman, Lee-Smith.
