A large number of youngsters converged on Diss High School to compete in another hugely successful annual Diss Primary School netball and football skills tournament.

Attended by pupils from Burston, Tivetshall, Roydon, Bressingham, Dickleburgh, Scole and Garboldisham, the morning consisted of a variety of skills being taught by the sports leaders followed by a tournament in the afternoon where they helped to officiate, score and coach.

The netball competition was keenly contested with Scole and Garboldisham finishing first in their respective leagues and both teams winning all of their games.

In the finals Tivetshall finished third by beating Roydon while Scole finished second with Garboldisham taking the overall victory.

The football competition was also very competitive with some very close games being played as Roydon were crowned the overall winning team with Garboldisham A and Dickleburgh A finishing joint third.
