Scole United Under-15s ended the season in style by recording their biggest victory with an emphatic 7-1 win over North Walsham.

The first half was far closer than the final score would suggest, with North Walsham cancelling out Lawrence Brown’s early goal, before Ellis Pullinger sent Scole into the break 2-1 up with his deft finish.

Despite the visitor’s valiant efforts, Scole proved to be too strong in the second period with skipper Charlie Hitch leading from the front.

Owen Page scored an impressive second-half hat-trick, with Kieran Manning also nodding home as Scole raced into a 6-1 lead before Ryan Scammell completed the scoring in the final few minutes.

Eye Saints Under-14s are looking to strengthen their squad for September in the under-15 league.

Home matches are played on Saturday mornings in Walsham-le-Willows and training takes place in Eye on a Thursday evening either at Hartismere High School or the Town Moors.
