Phantoms player Joe Graham could be set for another injury layoff.

Peterborough Phantoms are sweating on the fitness of Joe Graham.

Head coach Jon Kynaston gives his defenceman a ‘less than 50-50 chance of playing’ in a crunch English Premier League double-header against play-offs rivals Sheffield Steeldogs this weekend.

Phantoms go to iceSheffield tomorrow (January 12, 7.30pm) before staging the return clash at the Peterborough Arena on Sunday (5.30pm).

Graham is suffering from an upper body injury which has worsened since being sustained last weekend.

Graham has already missed a chunk of the English Premier League season with shoulder damage.

New defensive recruit Greg Pick is expected to play against Sheffield after being laid low with illness.

Pick was drafted in ahead of defeats against Guildford and Slough last weekend.
