Eye Saints Eagles Under-13s hit the goal trail in our match of the week to secure an emphatic 5-0 success over Brantham Athletic.

After a slow start the, Eagles finally broke the deadlock with a well taken goal from Nathan Faulkner, before two further goals followed in quick succession from Jacob Ready and Nathan Channell.

That momentum continued throughout the first-half with Thomas Schram firing home a fourth after a goalmouth scramble.

The second half proved a less eventful affair with Schram adding one further goal to double his tally.

n There was less joy for Diss Town Under-15s who came out on the wrong end of a five-goal thriller with Stowmarket in a 3-2 defeat.

Diss opened the score through Ollie Goodwin-Tallents before Stowmarket turned the tie on its head with three goals.

The second-half heralded an improvement with Chris Disney and Will Smith controlling midfield, resulting in Dan Wyman pulling a goal back but it proved too late.

n Diss Town Under-14s got back to winning ways with a thumping 5-1 win over Stowmarket Wasps.

Charlie Bowen stole the headlines with a magnificent five-goal haul while there were also promising displays from Archie Hewitt, Ralph Slaney, Charlie Crawford, Tim Hurtley, Jack Burrows, Lucas Whittlington, Alex Chittock, Lesley Mabeleka and Ralph Slaney.

n It proved a disappointing afternoon for Diss Town Under-11s who slipped to a 3-1 loss away at Thetford Independents.

Tyler Noller grabbed the goal for the visitors, while Will Cunningham, Alex Dunseithh, Will Beale, Dylan Gardiner, Max Hewitt, Kuba Boryczka, Alfie Marsham, Miles Holliday, Matthew Munnings and Samuel Cox all played well.

n There was also a defeat for Scole United Under-11s who suffered a 1-0 defeat at home to Norwich Corinthians despite the best efforts of Joseph Boardman, Ewan Johnson, Brad Potter, Jimmy Ellwood’s, James Taylor, Mackenzie Manning, Archie Parr and Thomas Church.
