For the second time this month, Diss Town were knocked out of the Norfolk Senior Cup by Fakenham Town last night.
The quarter-final was initially played at Brewers Green Lane on Saturday, February 11, with Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division side Fakenham running out 1-0 victors.
However, the Norfolk FA later ruled that The Ghosts had fielded an ineligible player and ordered that the tie be replayed.
In the return fixture, Diss fell behind in the first half to a George Abbott goal, but they drew level after the restart through a Charlie Webb header.
Both sides went on to create chances as they searched for a winner, which eventually went the way of Fakenham and Josh Youngs, who rose highest inside the box to power home.
Fakenham will now take on Harleston Town in the semi-finals on Wednesday, March 15 at The FDC (7.30pm), with the winner booking themselves a place in the Carrow Road final.
