Cricket: Kristian sets a new record
Brandeston Hall-Framlingham College Preparatory School pupil Kristian Williman, 13, set a new school record after his second hundred of the season.
Kristian, who plays for both Norfolk Under-13s and Under-14s scored a faultless 122 not out against Culford School. His innings included 14 fours and four sixes.
Kristian shared a partnership of 111 with opening batsman Tom Ridley. Brandeston scored 221 for 3 declared and in reply Culford scored 185 for 5.
Kristian, who is currently averaging 71 for Brandeston Hall 1st XI, is a multi-talented sportsman and is also a member of the Eastern Counties Rugby Squad and Leicester Tigers Elite Player Development Group.
The Headmaster of Brandeston Mr Martin Myers-Allen said: "Kristian is dedicated and determined young man who is in a rich vein of form.
"He is one of only 10 boys aged between 10 and 18 to be part of Norfolk's Cricket Academy.
"He is an incredibly dedicated and talented young man and he is developing tremendously under the guidance of Steve Goldsmith at Norfolk.
"We at Brandeston are so proud and absolutely delighted with Kristian's latest achievement. We look forward to hearing great things as he continues his cricket at Framlingham College under the expert eye of ex England star Paul Jarvis."
