A mid-Suffolk club will take to the track in the British Heritage Four-hour Relay Race at Snetterton on Sunday.
The popular event will be the culmination of a weekend's racing organised by the MG Car Club.

Four members of the Fressingfield Oily Rag Club (FORC), Richard Drake, Jonathan Wright, Stephen Chase and Steve Wyatt, will be driving a collection of classic Alfa Romeos, with fellow club members manning the pit-lane garage.

They will also compete against club mates who are part of rival teams.

Only one car from each team takes to the track at a time, and a team can comprise of a minimum of three cars and a maximum of six.

The team completing the most laps in four hours will be declared the winner, and there is also a handicap class to allow slower cars the chance to compete for an endurance award.

Wyatt, a founder member of FORC, is hoping for strong support for his team at Snetterton

He said: "The Oily Rag Club has around 300 members in the area, so we are hoping for a good turn out of supporters for the race."

Entry on the gate is £12 with U12s getting in free.

Anyone interested in joining FORC should contact Steve Wyatt, 01379 586225.
