Diss Town will be chasing their first home win since March when they host March Town United in the Ridgeons League First Division on Saturday, 3pm.
The Tangerines have only won twice at Brewers Green Lane in 2008 so far, beating Great Yarmouth Town 5-1 on January 12 and Ely City 2-1 on March 1.

But Town's squad will be stretched to the limit, with 11 players likely to be unavailable.

"It has all come at once," said Diss manager Robert Taylor, who has seen his team draw and lose their two home games this season.

"But it is not all doom and gloom. If we can get three points on Saturday, it could really kickstart our season."

Taylor is busy trying to bolster his squad and is hopeful of signing two new midfielders in time for tomorrow's clash.

He has also made an approach for a striker but the earliest he could be available would be Tuesday's derby at Debenham LC, 7.45pm.

The players out include injury victims Ed Cussons (calf), Adie Hayes (calf), George Wilson (ankle) and Kevin Leggett (ankle). Gavin Pauling and Luke Catchpole are on holiday, Chris Owen has given up football so he can spend more time with his family, and Polish keeper Bartosz Potrawski is still awaiting international clearance.

Taylor has also ruled out defenders Steve Best and Josh Hull after they did not turn up for Saturday's FA Cup tie with Walsham-le-Willows, despite being named in his squad.

  • Diss Town's home match with Downham Town has been moved forward from March 14 to Saturday, August 30.

  • The Tangerines were knocked out of the FA Cup on Saturday, which means they are now free to play on August 30, as are Downham.
