Diss Town face an early start to their FA competition adventures for the 2009/10 season.
The Tangerines have been drawn at home to United Counties League side Cogenhoe United in the extra preliminary round of the FA Cup on Saturday, August 15.

Victory will bring a trip to either neighbours Walsham-le-Willows or Kirkley and Pakefield a fortnight later.

The victors of that tie will be at Soham, St Ives or Daventry in the first qualifying round on September 12.

Walsham also face a home match with Kirkley in the FA Vase second qualifying round on September 19, while Diss, who also have a first qualifying round bye, are at home to Ely City or Cornard United.

Should the local rivals make progress, they will be in the first round proper on October 3 when Diss will be at home to Eynesbury Rovers or Ipswich Wanderers and Walsham at home to Newmarket Town or St Neots.

Debenham LC are not competing in either the Cup or Vase this season.
