A south Norfolk airfield is set for a six-figure sum development next month.
A further 20 aircraft will be able to reside at Old Buckenham Airfield when new bays are constructed in February- a project which started 15 years ago but has stalled under previous ownership.
Other aspects of the development include an increase in external parking and substantial ground works.
A spokesperson for the airfield said the exact cost would not be revealed, but it was described as ‘considerable’.
Matt Wilkins, Airfield Manager, said: “It was always going to be hard to beat the successes of 2013, but this is the best possible start.
“The airfield’s reputation as being immaculately maintained and exceptionally friendly can only be enhanced by having the best quality hangarage in Norfolk.”
