Below is the story if you missed it
The Diss Express can reveal that US President Barack Obama will be coming to Diss as part of his first official visit to Europe since his inauguration.
Mr Obama, who flew into Stansted Airport last night, will be visiting Diss to pay homage to famed revolutionary and radical Thomas Paine, who worked as a staymaker from 1765-66 in Beehive Terrace at the top of Cock Street, now Denmark Street.
Diss Museum manager Basil Abbott, who has been overseeing a festival in the town to mark the 250th anniversary of Paine's death said: "Diss has obviously changed a lot since Paine was here in the 18th Century.
"However, there are still many buildings left which date from his time here including Dolphin House and Tudor House as well as a little cottage in Mount Street."
Mr Obama, who showed his regard for Paine by quoting his words in his inaugral address in January, will also be visiting the radical's birthplace in Thetford, as part of an itinerary drawn up by the Friends of Obama Loyalists Society.
