This year's entries included models of a pirate ship, Kitt from the television series Knightrider and a Just Married car – complete with strings of tin cans.
Organiser Chris Burnard, who owns The Greyhound pub in The Street, said: "It went brilliantly – the sun shone and everyone enjoyed themselves.
"There was a great turnout of about 1,000 people."
William and Jamie Cooke won the children's race in Disaster and Botesdale resident Kevin Baxter triumphed in the adult section with Mean Machine.
A street collection was held in aid of Rickinghall Football Club and money raised from car parking at the event will go towards Botesdale Village Hall.
The 250 made at the race through sponsorship by ten local businesses will be donated to East Anglia's Children's Hospices .
"The event has really got some momentum now," said Mr Burnard.
"Everybody looks forward to it and talks about it six months ahead.
"It's become a real staple August Bank Holiday event."
