A man was seriously injured today in a collision between a train and a tractor at a level crossing in Roudham near Thetford.
Police, fire and ambulance were called to the scene at Hall Road at around 12.30pm today, Sunday April 10.
The train had 135 passengers on board at the time of the crash and around half-a-dozen passengers were reported to have minor injuries including cuts, bruising and suffering shock.
The tractor driver suffered serious injuries in the collision.
The train was damaged in the crash but had not been derailed.
Emergency services remain at the scene with British Transport Police.
Police have closed the road while the incident is dealt with and motorists are advised to avoid the area as the road will be closed for some time.
Train services will also be delayed.
