Drivers are being warned of delays on the A143 later this month with resurfacing works set to take place.
Work will begin on Tuesday, March 28, on the A143 Harleston Bypass at the junction with Mendham Lane (West). The site will extend to approximately 250 metres either side of the junction with Mendham Lane, and will be carried out under restricted working hours overnight, from 7pm to 7am. It will take four nights to complete, subject to weather. There will be temporary traffic signals for the duration of the works and there will be “significant” delays for traffic using Mendham Lane (West). A signed alternative route, via Needham Road, Shotford Road and Spirketts Lane, will be in place.
The work will cost £120,000 and carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Community Environmental Services Department and their contractors.
