Pretty villages in south Norfolk were showcased on primetime television yesterday as Channel 4 house hunters Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer were in the region scouring for hot property.

Hit property show Location, Location, Location brought its cameras to villages including Kenninghall, North Lopham, Banham and Besthorpe.

The show sees Allsopp and Spencer acting as property finders and last night’s featured couple were seeking a rural home within the triangle of Thetford, Diss and Wymondham.

Kenninghall was featured, with numerous segments shot down the village’s picturesque East and West Church Street, with the historic Red Lion pub in shot.

Allsopp identified homes in Besthorpe, Banham and North Lopham and it was the North Lopham house which won the couple’s hearts.

A scene was then shot in the village pub, The King’s Head, where Allsopp spoke on the phone to Diss agents TW Gaze’s Mike Sarson, and made a successful offer on the property on behalf of the couple.

A scene was also shot at Diss interior design shop Rooms With a View.
