Residents in south Norfolk are being asked to look out for bin calendars which are being distributed this month.

South Norfolk Council will be putting calendars on the handles or under the lids of nearly sixty thousand bins throughout November.

Councillor Kay Mason Billig, cabinet member for Environment and Recycling said. “The new calendar covers the whole year. Christmas, Easter and all the bank holidays so it is important that residents keep it somewhere safe and don’t throw it away after Christmas.

“The calendar shows when your bins will be collected and it is important that you check, as this year some collections will be two days early, some a day late and some three days late.

“To make sure that there is as little disruption as possible our crews will be working on Saturdays and that means that we can get everything back to normal as soon as possible.”

All of the calendars should be distributed by the end of November. If you haven’t received yours by the end of the month call 0800168 3333 or visit www.south-norfolk.gov.uk
