Residents and stakeholders are being invited to have their say on South Norfolk Council’s housing strategy.

The draft Housing Strategy and a consultation questionnaire have been published on the Council’s website and will be available until October 23. The questionnaire is also available in other formats including a postal and email option.

The authority has devised the plan, covering 2016 to 2019, which has four main aims — to provide housing, to give people access to a property which meets their requirements, creating safe and decent homes, and allowing residents to receive easily accessible advice.

Cabinet member for Wellbeing and Early Intervention Yvonne Bendle said: “The Council wants young people and families to have the best start in life and we want a district that is full of opportunity, including jobs and training, health and wellbeing, and a strong environment and vibrant local community.”
