A brand new ‘emoji’ released by the nation’s largest dog welfare charity has based one of its new creations on a Snetterton dog.
Dogs Trust has launched the first ever dog emoji keyboard to represent 23 of the of the country’s most popular breeds.
Each one has been based on real-life dog in one of its rehoming centres.
And Sascha the German Shepherd, based Dogs Trust Rehoming Centre Snetterton, has inspired her breed’s emoji.
The charity hopes that their new keyboard will help raise awareness and get more of their dogs rehomed.
Diane McLelland-Taylor, Manager of Dogs Trust Rehoming Centre Snetterton commented, “We are delighted that Sasha is the inspiration behind the German Shepherd Dogs Trust Emoji.
“She has always been a superstar in our eyes and we really hope this campaign helps her to find the perfect family.”
Six-year-old Sasha is still looking for her ‘pawfect’ home.
She is described as beautiful lady who loves chasing a ball, who loves lots of fuss and attention from her carers and is a very loving and loyal companion.
