Slideshow: Visitors try hand at new sport
Saturday's hot weather brought out many people to have a go at the sport of petanque.
The Diss Waveney club held its annual open day at the Shelfanger Road sportsground and many new players tried their hand at the simple-to-play sport.

Players ranged in age from four to 83 and visitors were given leaflets about the game, as well as being treated to a barbecue and drinks.
The club plays every Monday (6.30pm), Wednesday (2pm) and Saturday (10.30am) for about two hours and visitors are welcome. Equipment and coaching is free for beginners.
Diss Waveney has two teams in the Norfolk League, playing on Thursdays in summer and Sundays in winter.
