Six weeks of roadworks are set to start in Long Stratton next month.
They are due to commence on or shortly after September 5. Works are due to be carried out along St Michaels Road.
Works will include reconstructing the exiting footway on both sides of the carriageway.
Traffic management will be via a road closure to ensure public and workforce safety.
Vehicular access will be maintained for properties within the closure, and a diversion route will be in place to direct traffic around the works.
A spokesperson for the council said they apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
The work will cost £49.200 to complete, and will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Community and Environmental Services Department and their contractors.
