The Foxes class at Pulham Primary School are sending a cow to Africa — thanks to their efforts in a sponsored bike race.

In total £450 was raised for Oxfam, which the children chose to put towards building a classroom, sending a cow, a pile of manure, and keeping mums and babies safe, following a vote by pupils on how the money should be spent.

Ben Carroll, store manager at the Oxfam shop in Diss, also visited the school, to talk about the work the charity carries out and to thank the children for their fundraising efforts.
