The principal of a dance school has told of her pride after her group performed brilliantly in Germany against international competition.

LK’s School of Dance, which was established in 2007 and runs classes in Diss, Long Stratton, Eye and Norwich, competed at the UDO European Street Dance Championships in Kalkar at the weekend.

They came away with nine placings, while team Diss-tinction reached the semi-finals out of 24 crews.

Principal of LK’s School of Dance Lynne Bailey said: “I am the proudest dance teacher ever.

“I still don’t think it has sunk in yet, how well everyone did. I am so proud of each and every one of my pupils that qualified for the Europeans, I couldn’t ask for a better crew.

“We had the most amazing time together, dancing, competing, eating and visiting the on-site theme park with lots of fun and laughter had by children and adults from start to finish.”
