Police have appealed for help identifying a man in connection with an investigation into a shop theft in Eye last month.

At around 4.45pm on Wednesday, February 11, cash was stolen from the till of a supermarket on Broad Street after a man caused confusion with the cashier.

The offender is described as a white man, aged in his thirties or forties, of a large build, approximately 5’5” tall and wearing a black hat with white writing and a black jumper.

Anyone who can help identify the man in the CCTV image, or who has any information that may help police, should call 101, quoting the reference number ST/15/480.
