About 2,000 visitors are thought to have had their share of military mayhem at the weekend, at the Norfolk Tank Museum’s Armourfest.
It is the sixth year the event has run, based at the mueseum in Forncett St Peter, but the first under the Armourfest guise. Attractions across the weekend included Centurion tanks, a vast array of static displays, rides in all-terrain vehicles, military vehicles in action, and living history encampments hosted by reenactors.
Museum chairman Stephen MacHaye, said: “It was lovely, it was a good show.
“We were prepared for more than 2,000, but 2,000 visitors is up on last year and the year before that.”
