A pair of burglaries in Kenninghall has prompted police to appeal for witnesses.

The first happened between 5pm on Tuesday, March 29, and 10.30am the following day in Barnham Road.

An unknown number of suspects forced entry to a garage by cutting a padlock before stealing a petrol chainsaw and petrol strimmer.

The second incident happened between 7pm on Tuesday and 9am on Wednesday in West Church Street when a barn was entered.

An unknown number of offenders made attempts to steal a lawn mower, but left empty handed.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anything out of character in the area between the times stated.
