This week, Feline Care is hoping to find outdoor homes for some of their ‘working’ cats.
The charity neuters a lot of feral cats who are returned to their homes to live safer and healthier lives.
However, some of these cats cannot be returned to their homes if there is a real danger to them – for example, if they are likely to be shot by gamekeepers or run over because their home is by a busy road.
At the moment, Feline Care has Sunshine (pictured) and her mother Rainbow who would like to find an outdoor home together, plus four tabby beauties who are semi-feral and appreciate a fuss, and a group of seven stunning ginger and tortoiseshell moggies who could be homed in two groups.
As cats are naturally social animals who are used to living in large groups, Feline Care always makes sure to find them homes in pairs or small groups.
