First-timers can have a shot at clay pigeons when one of the most popular Diss Rugby Club social events takes place this weekend.
“If you haven’t been shooting before, there will be a stand offering anyone the opportunity to have a go and see what it is like,” said a club spokesperson.
For shooting enthusiasts there are two competitions, and also prize for the best junior.
Entry for a 40-bird sporting competition will be £12.50 for one round or £22 for two. The winner will receive £125, the runner up £75 and Workwear has donated a special third prize.
Riflecraft has awarded the prize for a down-the-line competition, and there is a £50 prize for the best junior in the sporting contest.
The shoot is from 10.30am-4pm on Sunday and competitors should look for signs off the A143 between Billingford and Harleston.
