Luke Page has been named as editor of the Diss Express, having held the position in an acting role for more than a year.
He joined the Diss Express in 2007 as a reporter and has built up an extensive knowledge of the local area, as well as a bulging contacts book.
Mr Page said: “It is a privilege, in what is the 150th anniversary of the Diss Express, to be named as editor.
“We have lots of new features and innovations planned for this year, and if there is anything you like, or don’t like, please give us your feedback.
“I would like to thank my colleagues Zach Ward, Claire Davies and Mark Bullimore for all their support and fantastic work, and not forgetting our talented sports team of Derek Bish, Russell Claydon and Sam Murley.
“I would also like to thank our readers and all those people who contribute their news and sport to us. They all help make the paper what it is today and I would encourage anyone with any news item, no matter how small to email us firstname.lastname@example.org or call the newsdesk 01379 658002 and speak to our team.”
