Meadow gives families a lesson about wildlife
More than 200 people visited the wildflower open meadow at Barton Grange, Worlingworth.
The meadow is home to wild flowers, including sorrel, knapweed, buttercups and red clover, and maps of the venue included a tour of the magic circle orchard, elephant ear walk and stalls.
Grange owner Nick Cook answered questions about the meadow and its maintenance.
He said: “It is a good way to learn about wildlife. We had families who wanted to see what I had done and how it is managed.”
Visitors helped to raise 1,566, of which 20 per cent will go to The Psoriasis Association as Mr Cook is a sufferer, and the rest will be donated to St Mary’s Church restoration fund in Worlingworth.
