Man suffers chest injuries in Diss collision

A man in his 20s was injured in a collision in Diss yesterday.

It happened at about 1.36am in Frenze Hall Lane, close to the junction with Sandy Lane, and involved a Renault Clio.

A man was found injured by the emergency services.

A spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust said: “A rapid response vehicle and ambulance crew were dispatched and treated a man in his 20s at the scene for chest injuries.

“After receiving this treatment at the scene, he was taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for further treatment. He was not believed to be in a life-threatening condition.”

A police spokesperson also confirmed a helicopter was called into action to check whether anyone else had been involved in the incident.
