Man hospitalised after Wortham crash

A man in his 70s was taken to hospital after a crash in Wortham on Friday.

The East of England Ambulance Service received a call at 2.06pm after reports of a two-car collision on the A143.

The man, who was complaining of abdominal pain, was taken to West Suffolk Hospital for further treatment.

His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Another patient was assessed at the scene for a hand injury but not taken to hospital.
