Man airlifted to hospital complaining of chest pains in Debenham

A man in his 50s was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital on Friday after complaining of chest pains in Debenham.

He is said to be in a stable condition.

A spokesperson for the East Anglian Air Ambulance said: “At 3.52pm the Anglia one crew left the Norwich base to fly to Debenham in Suffolk to a man in his fifties who was suffering chest pains.

“Doctor Haris Begovic and critical-care paramedic Gary Steward arrived with the patient at 4.20pm.

“The crew treated the patient on scene before airlifting him to the Norfolk and Norwich hospital.”
